Friends of Pastoralists (FOP) is a non-profit organization based in Kenya, founded in 2014. The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for pastoralist communities across several counties in Kenya.
To improve the well-being of pastoralist communities by providing the necessary resources, education, and support to foster sustainable development, health, and resilience.
There is a lot that happens around the world we cannot control. We cannot stop earthquakes, we cannot prevent droughts, and we cannot prevent all conflict, but when we know where the hungry, the homeless and the sick exist, then we can help.

ECO MANYATTA HOUSING PROJECT
This is an ambitious project of improving the poor living conditions in the traditional Maasai Manyattas.
We use the same housing design of Maasai only improving it by making it structurally strong and durable using locally available materials.
